Touch Plugin

This is a plugin for Finder that will allow you to create a new empty file in any directory by right/ctrl clicking in/on a directory an choosing “Touch New File” from the contextual menu. Below is some screenshots showing the functionality.

The plugin is a Universal Binary.

Install the plugin by extracting it and copying it to “~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/” or “/Library/Contextual Menu Items/” for a system wide install. You may have to create the folder. After copying the plugin into place restart Finder, and you should be good to go.
